The Shield became the victim of a newly formed faction on WWE Raw. Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler are the concerned trios who built a considerable force to reckon with.
They gave back the resistance to the most popular group present in the WWE. For the last couple of weeks, they have been delivering beatdowns to them. That reached new heights last week.
The entire pack of the heel superstars pounced on The Shield on WWE Raw to put them down. Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose, were on the hunt for Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre when the entire roster came out. They delivered a brutal attack on the babyface trio letting the heel faction feast on the carcass.
There were concerns about the status of The Shield after this vicious attack. Specifically, Seth Rollins drove his hands through the glass doors of a van and smashed it. It might have injured his hands severely. We did not get any official update on this until last night’s WWE Raw came live. Braun Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre kicked it off right away to remember the good memories from last week.
But The Shield did not take a long time to come back on the show. They interrupted the heel promo by the superstars coming through the crowd. The roster comprised of villains once again got into their way. But the Hounds pounced on them to clear the house. Dean Ambrose brought a bag of Axe-Handles to scare them away, as they prepare to fight Braun Strowman and co.
But they decided to retreat from the scene on the opening segment of WWE Raw. Baron Corbin tried to keep The Shield away from the scene threatening Roman Reigns to relinquish his title. But he came back at the very last segment of WWE Raw. Braun Strowman called him out, and he dared to show up.
A fight broke out onto the scene between these two giants. But the powerhouse of the Shield gained the upper hand with a superman punch.
Thereafter, he delivered a Samoan Drop through the table to keep the monster down. It gave back the momentums to the Big Dog before his championship match on this Sunday. Also, Ambrose and Rollins will get a tag team championship match at Hell in a Cell against Ziggler and McIntyre.
