While Survivor Series is considered one of the four biggest pay-per-view, this year saw a big opposition than last year which saw a thrilling main event with high stakes. All of the matches happened in a rush as predicted by myself and no new outcome was found at the end of the night. According to my view, this is the worst show of the year so far beating last February’s Fastlane and here’re the reasons:

Frequent matches with no stories
Pay-per-views are considered to come out with an end of an ongoing battle or to produce some new feud or storylines. If the matches are not supposed to deliver that then it is wasted and the same thing happened here. It looked like an otherwise live event with some random matches going on with no further outcome. It shows that WWE Creative has gone down to a level where they had to book 20 mid-card superstars with two tag matches without any storyline!

Charlotte is a failure as the Babyface Divas champion
Charlotte along with the so-called ‘revolutionary’ Divas of the NXT was called to the main roster to target and destroy The Bella Empire primarily. Therefore, Charlotte was given the title quite understandably but she turned out to be a complete failure. So much so that last week’s RAW Creative came up with the idea to mention her late brother’s name to create sympathy for her among the fans. Paige is a natural person given with the heel character but obviously to botch moves with competitors like Charlotte. So the chemistry and match between these two remained okay type and never went to that next level.

Wyatt’s lost again
If you see Wyatt’s big feuds in his career be it Cena, Roman Reigns or Undertaker he always came up short. The only time he gained victory was last year this time against Dean Ambrose. We get it that it was Undertaker’s 25th anniversary and so he must have been showcased, but there was no need for the clean pinfall victory for him where almost no offense was done by them in the entire match up. DQ’s or count outs were the viable option. Taker is likely to be off the television and almost finished after Wrestlemania season. So, where does The Wyatt family stands now? The answer is nowhere and with no one left following the buzzard.

Rushed and poor quality matches
This is probably because of the ongoing tournament where almost every matches and pinfall seemed rushed. The biggest failure was the final match between Reigns and Ambrose which was set up for an epic clash. With the two men knowing each other so well the match supposed to be back and forth action. Instead, we got an abrupt finish in which sucked the air out of the arena. Maybe it was cut short for the coronation and the cash-in angle. It would be the best if only the final was left for the final and was hyped as the battle of the best friends.

A weak champion
I would not say that Sheamus is a weak champion. It is the storylines that made him look weak for last several months since winning the Money in the Bank. He was booked with nothing since then apart from some random tag matches. Even on the crowning night he was in a part of some forgotten elimination tag match where he got beaten by Ryback and an hour later he became the WWE champion! As for now WWE should book him with some terrific matches to make him relevant once again who can help to build the Roman Empire once again with full force.
