WWE Smackdown should start to heat things up for the next PPV event in line, Super Show Down. The red brand has been able to hype the show up with the announced matches from their side. A couple of matches are official from the blue side too. But they need to add more intensity in those feuds to make things more interesting. The last couple of Smackdown episodes fell short of the expectations.

It looks like the GM is willing to gift us with a firecracker as she announced an official championship contract signing segment. The WWE Championship match for Super Show Down will be official via this segment. Also, we will see the fallout from the Rusev Day members. Their bond is no longer present following a betrayal from Aiden English. Tonight’s show will take place from home of last night’s WWE Raw i.e. Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

The headliner of this week’s Smackdown would be a contract signing between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. A confirmed championship match is present at the Super Show Down match card between these two. Paige added a must-maintain stipulation for this match which is as follows, (courtesy WWE.com)

“SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige took to social media on Saturday to announce that this coming Tuesday night on the blue brand that WWE Champion AJ Styles and Samoa Joe will partake in a contract signing for their No Disqualification, No Count-Out, Must-be-a-Winner WWE Title Match at WWE Super Show-Down.”

This was evident to happen as the last two championship bouts between Styles and Joe did not witness a proper finish. The contender, Samoa Joe specifically requested this contest with these stipulations. So he should be happy as his wish was considered by the officials. He will try to take the upper hand from now continuing mind-games with Styles. The championship signing is not going down without a physical brawl, for sure.

A shocker happened on last week’s Smackdown as Aiden English ambushed Rusev from behind. The tag team Rusev Day exists no more. A heel-turned English will try to pick up the momentums on his side to establish himself as a singles competitor. Rusev, one the other hand will try to get his hands to seek revenge. But, Aiden might use Lana as a shield to get rid of the wrath of the Bulgarian Brute.

Charlotte Flair is dealing with a lot of negative heats as of late. She is the poster girl of the women’s division whom Becky Lynch overshadowed recently. Fans are on her corner despite the heel antics as they want a new queen to reign on the throne over Smackdown Live. So the Irish Lass-kicker is rolling with momentums on her side for now. The beatdowns continued for Charlotte for a long time. The question remains whether Flair can fight back before Super Show Down arrives.

The feud over the Smackdown tag team championship will continue over The New Day and The Bar. This week, Sheamus will go one-on-one in a singles contest against Big E to continue the storyline for Super Show Down. The Miz and Daniel Bryan will no more be having their wives on the side. So this will be a solo feud between them from now on. Also, we might find out who is going to be the next opponent for Randy Orton.
