Former A.C Milan gaffer Clarance Seedorf has shown interest in taking over a managerial position in the English Premier League. Seedorf is one of the most decorated Dutch players ever. He is considered one of the most successful players in Champions League history, as he is the first, and currently, the only player to have won the Champions League with three different clubs – once with Ajax, in 1995, once with Real Madrid, in 1998, and twice with Milan, in 2003 and 2007. In 2004, he was chosen by Pelé as part of the FIFA 100.

“The Premier League is a great competition,” Seedorf said. “I would definitely explore this opportunity. If there is a good project I would be happy to consider it.

“There are a lot of rumours but to be linked with important clubs is a nice feeling and it is always better to have options than to not have options at all.”

It was only at AC Milan that Seedorf went through a brief stint. His managerial position at San Siro lasted merely five short months, that’s basically not even half a year. Italian sources claim that Seedorf might get a managerial job for himself in the Premier League after clubs namely QPR and Newcastle are linked with him. There has also been speculation that Seedorf could take over from Danny Blind as head coach of the Netherlands after they failed to qualify for Euro 2016. Seedorf was a former Dutch player and represented the country for 14 years where he netted 11 goals in 87 appearances.
