Total Divas season 5 returns in January as Trish wants them in Main Event spotlight

Many questions remained unanswered where the season 4 had left us on October as we waits for the new season and it looks like we don’t have to wait for much. In the latest promo of Total Divas 5, it shows that the show is returning on E! Network, in the month of January. Though an actual date has not been confirmed yet, the promos are good enough to create the hype.

The initial promos are showing that Nikki will finally disclose Dolph’s approach towards her to rekindle his love which is the most interesting part and Natalya will finally bury the hatchet with her long term erstwhile Summer Rae.

Also in the page is the engagement drama revolving Paige and a new Diva from NXT called Mandy Sacs is going to arrive on the scene. With all the ingredients, this season promised to be even fiercer.

Talking of fiercer Divas, one of all time great WWE Diva Trish Stratus had commented on her official website by praising the WWE Creative who is giving more screen times for the Divas division. She also congratulated Charlotte and Paige for getting the main event spot on Raw two weeks ago. Her quote is as follows:

“Next, it’s time for us to see ladies on the current roster get the main event spot on a PPV card – it’s clear they’re ready, and so are we. Besides, putting their top athletes into the main event spot is what WWE does, gender shouldn’t be a factor.”

 She also commented on Ronda Rousey. She said that if somehow Ronda managed to get in WWE, her star presence will eventually improve and enrich the present WWE Divas and clearly commenting Ronda a ‘game changer’ in Women’s professional wrestling.

After these happenings and with the ongoing fierce rivalry between Charlotte and Paige WWE may plan to have a first ever TLC match for the Divas. These are just rumors, though. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
