Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement was a long-time coming for the WWE Universe. They wanted it to see for a long time. It seems that the million dollar contract with Saudi Arabia Sports Authorities worked as a huge factor to make compete in another match. The buildup of for Undertaker vs. Triple H for Super Show Down indicated that his return is evident. The Deadman called him out of retirement talking about respect.
So it is finally happening on tonight’s Crown Jewel PPV event. Shawn Michaels and Triple H will team up against The Undertaker and Kane. It will be the D-Generation X vs. Brothers of Destruction to take us back into the Attitude Era. No wonder seeing these four at the same time inside the ring will leave us with goosebumps.
The star-studded lineup and the absence of Roman Reigns from the match card almost guarantee this match to be the main event of Crown Jewel. We expected that there should be some fallouts from this matchup setting up yet another showdown between The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels. But that might not be the case for now, at least. This match will close the storyline angle for good.
PWInsider.com reported that the storyline angle featuring The Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels is coming to an end, tonight. There should be a clean finish to the potential main event of Crown Jewel. WWE has not booked any one of them for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. It means that there will not be any continuation of this angle from now onwards.
Triple H has defeated the Undertaker at WWE Super Show Down in a singles competition. Shawn Michaels helped him in doing so throughout this match. This hints that Brothers of Destruction might pick up the win at Crown Jewel to level the score. This only can bring a perfect end to the angle.
We assumed a fallout from this match considering Survivor Series is around the corner. A match between the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels was under speculation for this big PPV event. However, if the source is right, the creative team has not gone forward with any such planning for now. There is still a chance to see the match Wrestlemania 35, though.
