WWE superstars who dated celebrities

WWE Superstars may not be considered as the mainstream celebrities, but they embody the quality in every sense given the fact the adoring they got around the world and their involvement in travelling and promotions for the company. You can’t compare Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise to Daniel Bryan or John Cena but at the same time you can’t deny that they all have a legion of admirers at their respective field.

Though WWE stars and these Hollywood celebrities are unlikely considering their workplaces, there’s one thing in common and that is to manage their roles on-screen. Perhaps this is the reason why WWE superstars had gone on to pursue romantic relationships with some Hollywood celebrities as they can share the same stresses and jobs.

Here are the Superstars and celebrity combos:

Stacy Keibler – George Clooney

After quitting WWE, Stacy was appearing in some TV shows where her friendship with evergreen Clooney began to which turned into romance later in the year 2011 which continued till 2013. They both got married this year – to other people of course!

Kelly Kelly – Jeremy Piven

No one quite remembers the night when Jeremy Piven hosted RAW in 2009 as only good thing was to get acquainted with Kelly Kelly thereafter but only for a short period of time.

Kelly Kelly – Sheldon Sourey

Sheldon Shorey, the regular player in the National Hockey League is the fiancé of Kelly Kelly as of right now. They are dating since her quit in WWE in 2012.

The Rock – Lauren Hashian

No one does really know about it, but The Rock is having an affair with this singer/songwriter since 2007 which is now even stronger as he is expecting a baby with Lauren hashian.

MVP – Sherry Shepherd

Sherry is best known for her show “The View” which counts almost eight years now. In one episode of Smackdown in 2009 MVP and Sherry met and started blossoming the romance only to split in that same year.

Torrie Wilson – Alex Rodriguez

One thing is common between both of them and that is controversy and that may be the reason they are going still strong. Major League Baseball player Rodriguez met scandalous WWE Diva Torrie in 2011 after her release from WWE and they are still together despite all the odds.

David Otunga – Jennifer Hudson

The not-so-superstar Otunga met his superstar and Oscar award winner fiancé in the year 2008 and got engaged seven months later. Despite his failure as a WWE superstar, Otunga is involved in WWE promotional activities and can be seen at the red carpet events with Jennifer.

Gail Kim – Robert Irvine

Former WWE Diva Gail Kim met her husband Robert Irvine on the set of his show “Dinner: Impossible” in 2009. Irvine who served British Armed Force Royal Navy for ten years is known for his no-nonsense tough persona and maintained it in their marriage too.

Dolph Ziggler – Amy Schumer

There’s no confirmation of the news until Schumer revealed it on the Howard Stern Show. They were compatible for each other considering both coming from the comedy background, but Schumer ended the relationship when she decide to rekindle her lost love with another comedian Anthony Jeselnik.
