“I have to wait till the last minute[before taking a decision regarding my participation],” Shakib said. “We all know how challenging it will be to play a five-day match. So there is still some confusion whether I have reached that stage or not because I have participated in only four training session. And from them two were optional so need to wait until tomorrow,” he added.

“We are very close in the ICC ranking so naturally this series is very important. They did well against us at their home so naturally, we are aiming to play similarly at our own den. I am confident about it [doing well against West Indies] as the whole team has the belief that we can do well against them,” he concluded.
