There was a lot of interesting happening on Smackdown in comparison to this week’s WWE Raw. Paige is always fans’ pleasure on TV to welcome us into the show. The presence of Becky Lynch also assured the fans who seemed worried about her future. The occasion got even bigger once the GM confirmed the first-ever WWE TLC match for the women superstars. Just to avoid the regular Charlotte-Becky booking, she decided to make it a triple threat via a battle royal.

Jeff Hardy celebrated his 20th anniversary on WWE Smackdown. It’s almost an incredible feeling for the WWE fans that this Charismatic Enigma has debuted two decades ago. The vignette around his career gave us goosebumps for sure. But then against we had to move forward in the future where Samoa Joe is waiting for him. The heel superstars ruined the celebration hinting a feud is about to start.

Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States Championship at Summerslam. It’s hard to believe that he might be going to start his first feud, three months later. Attacking Rusev out of nowhere was an indication that these two will grow the bad blood on Smackdown. Rusev will also solidify the face-turn by virtue of this which can make him relevant on the roster, again.

Randy Orton has unleashed the most sadistic side of his character for quite sometimes. He is the best time whenever donning the heel character which he proved last night. If we thought ripping-off the mask, was the end of targeting Rey Mysterio, we were wrong. Another vicious attack was waiting for the Luchador as he showed up in an injured health. We hope his body is doing okay after going through this.

The women’s battle royal was the main event of Smackdown. It was not hard to predict the winner. Asuka picked up the win being the last woman to stand tall inside the ring. It built a dream lineup for us that will witness Charlotte, Becky, and Asuka fighting in the same ring at the same time. This one is going to be a hell of a fight.

Overall, last night’s Smackdown made a decent build up for WWE TLC. Here are the Twitter reactions from the show,
