WWE Smackdown has been able to maintain the standard of WWE programming for the past several weeks. WWE Raw has been quite a dud with the TV ratings hitting an all-time low. Although they were able to make a comeback this week, we don’t expect a long jump in terms of ratings. The absence of big names from the show is a viable reason behind this.
New match from Smackdown at TLC
Smackdown, on the other hand, is delivering some unique matches on weekly basis to keep things fresh. One of such matches announced for the show was Mandy Rose vs. Naomi. These two ladies had some verbal altercations for the past several weeks. The Golden Goddess is getting much time with the mic, lately, that allowed her to take shots at his fellow roster member from Smackdown.
Additionally, they tried to go at it again on Twitter. Earlier this week, Mandy Rose made fun of Naomi on the social media. She was trying to point out that how Naomi failed to win the battle royal match on Smackdown. It took place to determine the third participant of the historic TLC match. Asuka won it and entered the championship picture after a long time.
Naomi did not take it lightly and responded via Twitter that set up this match on Smackdown. However, we did not see it happening on the main show. Paige had an answer for it during a backstage interview. She confirmed of having no idea about the match that The Miz and Shane McMahon had on the show. Naomi vs. Mandy Rose was the original match scheduled on this slot,
“Well, The Miz is actually what happened. He’s making matches that I didn’t even know was gonna happen. So obviously the ladies couldn’t be a part of it. But what I do know is, is that Mandy and Naomi is not over. See you next week.”
That is a good news for Mandy Rose fans like Corey Graves. They can see the gorgeous lady competing inside the ring on next week’s Smackdown Live. The former Absolution member is on the verge of getting a push on the blue brand. So she is the favorite to win this match and gain some momentum for a bright future. A win against a former Smackdown women’s champion could be a huge boost to her career.
