An offensive banner went viral in the 41st match of the Big Bash League between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder. The banner read as, “IT’S OK TO BE WHITE”. Thus, the banner was the cynosure of all eyes during the match. The banner caused outrage among the fans across the country.
The banner was criticized by the fans and they wanted the mischiefs to be banned from entering the stadium for the upcoming matches. On the other hand, some other people came to the rescue of the group as they claimed that their actions didn’t hurt anyone. In fact, the banner was up there for some time before the security officials interfered. The banner stretched to the length of 18 chairs.
The banner was criticized.
Meanwhile, the men tried to leave the stadium undetected but the police were called to escort them out of the stadium. The West Australian has reported the men with move on notice.

How is "it's ok to be white" expressing yourself? Of course its ok to be white….if your not a complete moron towards all other races. Let's acknowledge what happened in the past, and work together to move on. Banners like this don't help the situation.

In Australia, the phrase “It’s ok to be white” grabbed eyeballs when Pauline Hanson’s gave the lecture in the Senate last year. In fact, Ms. Hanson had tried to draw attention towards “deplorable rise of anti-white racism and attacks on Western civilization” across the country.
Meanwhile, Sydney Thunder won the match by six wickets. Callum Ferguson scored a fine knock of 113 runs off just 53 balls to help his side get over the line.
Perth Scorchers had posted a competitive score of 181 runs. Shaun Marsh scored a brilliant unbeaten knock of 96 runs off just 55 balls. However, Marsh’s knock went in vain as Perth Scorchers lost the match by six wickets.
Ferguson’s hundred is the second century of the ongoing season. The first hundred was smashed by Sydney Thunder captain Shane Watson. Thus, both hundred has come from Sydney Thunder.
