Once again RAW kicks off with Stephanie McMahon in the ring and Roman Reigns decided to interrupt the principal co-owner, going beyond his audacity. Already scheduled for the night is a huge title match with him and Sheamus in the main event with the Boss as the referee, but still Reigns did manage to get his last remarks for on Stephanie with some last minute tough talk.

Kevin Owens vs. Neville

After brutally assaulting Dean Ambrose in past weeks, once again the prizefighter proved his dominance over his opponents when he managed to land the man that gravity forgot down to earth, by targeting his heavily taped up ribs. A pop up power bomb sealed the deal but a beat down was still waiting for him after the match. Dean Ambrose arrived for some payback by delivering an elbow drop over the commentary table to KO.

Titus O’Neil vs. Stardust

This time, there is no interference from each other over some intergalactic matters as ‘the prince of dark matters’ takes on the ‘big deal’ in a fair and square match up. Stardust was in firm control of the match since he ate a devastating kick from O’Neil which then followed by the Clash of the Titus for the win.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte

Now what better way to prove that Becky can get a win without her best friend in the corner and that too against the very own best friend with Ric Flair meddling between the match. After the winning roll up, Charlotte showed her true dirty color by attacking the Irish maiden from behind. The title match for the Divas championship is now official on Smackdown.

Ryback vs. Big Show

Last week Big Show named himself as the first entrant in the Royal Rumble and this week Ryback declared as an entry into the mix. In between their last week rematch, Bray Wyatt and Co. decided to show up and turn the match into a maul and declaring his entire flock as an official entry to the Rumble.

The League of Nations vs. the Usos

The field is still wide open for challenging the tag team champion New Day and the bragging is on. This battle is for the same where the Usos were about to take over after countering the big stomp of Del Rio to a splash. Rusev did help to some extent to deliver Del Rio his signature moves which finally allowed him to deliver the tree stomp for the win.

Heath Slater vs. Dolph Ziggler

Heath Slater is claiming for past weeks that he has something to say and this week he came to the ring with a flock of his own with Bo Dallas, Adam Rose and Curtis Axel who got the distraction to pull up a surprise win against the show-off Dolph Ziggler.

Jericho returns

As always The New Day was bragging in the ring to deliver a present to the WWE Universe but did not even have a clue with the one who showed up with the countdown going on to the tron. The ayatollah of Rock n Rolla showed up to save the world once again as he officially entered himself to the Royal Rumble match.

The New Day vs. Kalisto and The Dudleyz

Sin Cara is hurt and so Kalisto has got a new company in the name of the Dudley Boyz who were in pursuit for their 10th WWE title gold for the better part of 2015 and it looks they picked up from where they left off. The distraction from Jericho allowed the high flyer Kalisto and Co. to gain the upper hand until Big E came as a savior. Shoving off D-Von from the top rope Kofi and Big E finished the tasks in hand.

Reigns vs. Sheamus for WWE title (Mr. McMahon as special guest referee)

This one looked highly unlikely for Reigns to leave with the WWE title with him as the special guest referee appointed was none but Mr. McMahon. Reigns have sealed the deal early after delivering the dri-fi followed by a Samoan drop but it was obvious that the boss would not call the match fare and square. So the Big Dog had no option but to punch once again in the face to put him down which brought another referee to count the pinfall after a final superman punch for Reigns to retain his title. A furious Mr. McMahon then made the ultimate “one versus all” match up where for the very first time Roman Reigns will defend his title in the Royal Rumble match against 29 other opponents.
