Recently, the Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal speaks about his relations with the other national team players. He revealed that he and MS Dhoni play PUBG together.

Since his international debut in June 2016, Yuzvendra Chahal has evolved himself as one of the regular limited-overs spinners for India. The 28-year-old leg-spinner has played 40 ODIs and 29 T20Is where he has bagged 71 and 45 wickets respectively. At present, he is the fifth-ranked ODI bowler. The wrist spinner has mostly impressed with his bowling skills in almost every country.

Recently, he claimed that the senior Indian players had helped him a lot of times.

According to Hindustan Times, Yuzvendra Chahal said, “Whenever I feel something, I always talk to the senior players — Virat (Kohli) bhaiya, Mahi (MS Dhoni) bhai, Rohit (Sharma) bhaiya, Shikhar (Dhawan) bhaiya. They always help me. When Virat bhaiya is not there, I always [speak to] Rohit bhaiya and ask him what to do and what not to do.”

Yuzvendra Chahal also praised the former Indian captain and present limited-overs wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni. While he revealed that he and MS Dhoni play PUBG together, he also spoke about MS Dhoni’s importance on the field.

The leg-spinner added, “Mahi bhai and I play PUBG together sometimes (laughs). Seven-eight people play PUBG for two hours. We go for dinners, [have] fun. It’s a big thing to play under Mahi bhai. He was my first captain. Whenever we need help in bowling, Kuldeep (Yadav) and I always ask him.”

Apart from his bowling performances, Yuzvendra Chahal is also getting famous for his Chahal TV. Chahal TV has just started recently, and it is gaining massive popularity at present. In this special segment, the other Indian cricketers share their interesting thoughts to the host Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner has admitted that he has gained more confidence through the Chahal TV.

Talking about that initiative, the leg-spinner said, “I am a shy type of guy. (I’ve become) more confident after doing Chahal TV — I randomly started taking interviews in the bus. Maine waise hi kar diya ki ‘Chahal TV’ pe aapka swagat hai’. Logon ko kaafi pasand aaya, kyunki yeh kaafi hatke hai. Masti bhi kar sakte hain aur cricket ke baare mein bhi pooch sakte hain [I just started saying ‘You’re welcome to ‘Chahal TV’ and people quite liked it because this was unique. We have fun while talking about cricket]’.”

The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup is around 100 days away to begin. Yuzvendra Chahal is excited to play his first Cricket World Cup. While he feels that they are the best ODI side at present, he also believes it will create more pressure for them in the upcoming World Cup.

He said, “I’m very excited as it will be my first World Cup. In the 50-over format we have the best team. There will be a lot of pressure, as the whole country wants the Cup. But it’s our job to tackle the pressure.”

England and Wales will host the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup from 30 May to 14 July. A total of ten teams will participate in this 12th edition of the World Cup tournament. India will begin their World Cup journey on 5 June against South Africa at Southampton.
