Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has effusively praised the efforts of Jasprit Bumrah following a splendid spell in the opener of the India vs Australia series. The Gujarat-based pacer in a shorter period has become a prominent face in the Indian set-up. With unorthodox in action, Burmah has an advantage. However, the way he has stepped up to deliver goods for the Men in Blue has in itself been a remarkable story in cricket to relish. He often put in hard yards to do his job in the best possible way for the national team.
Following a hard-fought effort with the ball in the opener of the Twenty20 International (T20I) at Vizag on February 24, Bumrah might be disappointed while losing the game on a last-ball thriller after conceding just two runs in the penultimate over of the match. So much so, he picked the wickets of Peter Handscomb and Nathan Coulter-Nile.
Earlier, Bumrah trapped skipper Aaron Finch in front of the wickets on a nought.
In the T20I against Australia, Bumrah bowled as many as 18 dot balls while conceding just 16 runs to clinch their wickets in Visakhapatnam.
While speaking in the post-game show on Cricbuzz, Jadeja maintained Bumrah’s impact has had been a vital cog in the wheel for India in pressure-cooker situations.
Jadeja sees a top-notch death bowler in Bumrah:

When asked, is there any other best death fast bowler in the ‘limited-overs cricket’? The 48-year-old Jadeja was apt in his response.
“There’s no other bowler like Jasprit Bumrah. He’s special. I mean there’s no doubt who else can you think of in the past that comes into the international cricket,” Jadeja told Cricbuzz.
Interestingly, Bumrah didn’t limit himself to the white-ball cricket; he went on to don the whites to produce an outstanding show particularly in the historic series win over Australia.
Bumrah, who is top on the charts of the ODI bowling rankings, manages 27th spot owing to the T20I bowling rankings.
Bumrah’s excellence lies in his hardwork:

Jadeja said Bumrah has emerged into the scene to become successful in his approach.
“Bumrah has improved every day. He has added much to his game. Maybe, not in (his) skills so much, but (while) reading the batsmen,” Jadeja added.
So far, Bumrah has bagged 48 wickets in 10 Tests at an average of 21.9. Across limited-overs fold, Bumrah has 129 scalps under his belt since his emergence in 2016.
Considering Bumrah’s death bowling skills, Jadeja reiterated there is no doubt that he’s the best in business to deliver for India.
When visitors required 16 off last 12 deliveries, Virat Kohli turned up to Bumrah. The wily customer not only accepted the responsibility but almost won the game for Men in Blue.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) product Jasprit Bumrah has grabbed the headlines following his spectacular show for the Mumbai Indians (MI). He has worked hard to improve his bowling which eventually saw him raising the bar in each passing game.
As of now, Australia leads the two-match T20I series 1-0. Bumrah would like to continue his domination in the second T20I on February 27 in Bengaluru.
