After making his international debut in August 2008, Virat Kohli has played 77 Tests, 222 ODIs and 66 T20Is. The 30-year-old right-handed batsman has scored 6,613 Test runs, 10,533 runs and 2,191 runs respectively. At present, he is breaking some reputed and long-term international cricket records as a batsman.

Under his captaincy, the Indian cricket team has already achieved some great successes. In the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, India finished as the runners-up under Virat Kohli’s captaincy. He has also led the side for many great bilateral series victories, including some rare overseas success. Some of those are the ODI series victories in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
