Review & Twitter Reactions From This Week’s WWE Raw: March 4, 2019 1

There were multiple twists and turns in terms of storylines on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Starting with The Shield reunion, this was evident to happen following Roman Reigns’ comeback. This might not be the smart thing to do since such reunions already happened in the past. But if you notice, WWE has been promoting this one as the final match for The Shield in their career. Who knows if they are up to dragging an emotional issue just to retain Dean Ambrose in the company.

Batista’s appearance on WWE Raw was almost a confirmed one courtesy of recent reports. But the former world champion decided to dodge the show just because it’d be too early. Currently, WWE is looking forward to focussing on Fastlane set for this Sunday night. So, the confrontation with Triple H will happen on next week’s episode. Meanwhile, a fired-up promo from Triple H made up the absence to a big extent.

It was good to see the Heavy Machinery to receive the spotlight on WWE Raw. This is a team having all the tools to become future champions and who is pretty over with the crowd. Winning three back to back matches on the show might hand them a Wrestlemania spotlight. There was two women’s division matches on WWE Raw that really disappointed. Nothing much focus was there except for these matches being randomly booked.

Triple H-Batista confrontation confirmed

Lastly, the storyline for WWE Raw women’s championship has been at its peak. We did not see the heel-turn of Ronda Rousey, at all. But this was perhaps mandatory to keep Becky Lynch’s babyface status intact. Fans were automatically booing Rousey for the past few weeks which was used nicely in this heel-turn angle. This hell of a twist will bring more fresh things on WWE Raw heading into Wrestlemania.

Overall, we give a thumbs up to this week’s episode of WWE Raw. It was a go-home show for Fastlane but more focused on Wrestlemania, rather. Here are the Twitter reactions from it,
