The former captain of the Indian national cricket team and the present limited-overs wicketkeeper-batsman, MS Dhoni will soon reveal one of his untold story in a docudrama.

Soon, the Indian digital and mobile entertainment platform, Hotstar will release a brand new show “Roar Of The Lion”. This show will be the first big release in Hotstar Specials. India’s most prominent storytellers will come with their untold stories in this exclusive show. This show will be available in seven different Indian languages – Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

The first show will be aired on 20 March and MS Dhoni will feature on that first show. In the trailer of the show, MS Dhoni claimed that he would reveal the unknown story of his determination. He will expose his life secret in his voice.

He said in that official trailer, “Ek Kahaani Hain, Jo Aapne Ab Tak Nai Suni. (There is one story that you are yet to hear). Ye Kahaani Hai Zidd Ki (This is the story of determination).”

Different story from M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

MS Dhoni is one of the favourite and respected cricketers worldwide. His important life stories have been already revealed through the Bollywood biographical movie – M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of MS Dhoni. In that movie, we came to know many of his stories related to his cricket career.

However, in the recent docudrama trailer, MS Dhoni claimed that he would tell his untold story in this show. So, through the new show, we will know another fresh story of MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni is excited about this new show. He feels that the entire programmes of the show are unique.

He said about this show, “I am excited to see my first production collaboration come to life. The story and the narrative are unique. And, we believe it has found a perfect home in the bold and non-conforming Hotstar Specials.”

MS Dhoni is a successful world-class cricketer. He is a brilliant wicketkeeper, batsman and most importantly he is a cool & successful finisher.

Under his captaincy, India achieved huge success in international cricket. Some of those were winning the 2007 ICC World T20, 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy etc. He is the only captain till the date to win all three ICC trophies.

Moreover, since the ICC officially began the teams’ ranking in 2003, India first time achieved the no.1 rank in Test cricket under MS Dhoni’s captaincy (in November 2009).

Though MS Dhoni has taken retirement from Test cricket as well as from international captaincy, he is still playing as a crucial member for the national side in the limited-overs cricket.

After making his international debut in December 2004, he has played 90 Tests, 340 ODIs and 98 T20Is. The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman has scored 16,967 runs in the international career (4,876 Test runs, 10,474 ODI runs and 1,617 T20I runs).
