The members of the Indian cricket team wore camouflage caps during the third ODI of the series against Australia in Ranchi to show their respect to the Pulwama martyrs. The players of team India also donated their match-fee.
The respect shown by Indian players did not go down well with Pakistan Cricket Board, that lodged a complaint with ICC.
However, the apex board confirmed that the Indian players had worn the caps after taking performing from it.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi was asked about his opinion on Indian players wearing camouflage caps and he had a hilarious reply to it as he said, “Caps pehni to utar bi deen (They wore but took it off as well).”

Apart from wearing caps and donating match-fee, BCCI also took a step in helping the martyrs’ families.
There will be no IPL opening ceremony this time and the money will be given to the families of Pulwama martyrs.
Meanwhile, India are all set to play their final match of the international season when they will face Australia in the fifth and the final ODI of the series in Delhi tomorrow.
The series is level at 2-2 and the winner of the final ODI will take away the series.
