Former English skipper Michael Vaughan, who is known for his bold statements, has warned teams for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, scheduled in England and Wales. He pointed out that Australia as a team is making a strong case ahead of the ODI showpiece in the United Kingdom (UK).

ICC World Cup 2019: Australia on a road to recovery; Vaughan hails Ashes rivals:
Former right-handed batsman Vaughan took to micro-blogging website Twitter to praise Australia led by Aaron Finch for their road to recovery.

Vaughan’s comments came soon after Kangaroos thrashed Pakistan in the opener of the five-match ODI series. The Men in Yellow won the game convincingly by eight wickets and six balls to spare.
On March 22 (Friday), visitors rode on all-round show while overhauling the target of 281 against iconic Sharjah stadium. Skipper Finch led from the front–to slam 135-ball 116. Finch has been struggling to make a count for his team on a regular basis.
Finch had gone 30 international matches without a three-figure score, but after his 93 in India and his century in Sharjah, it seems the Australia captain is hitting form at the right time.

Also, Shaun Marsh made solid unbeaten 91 off 102 deliveries with the help of four boundaries and two maximums.
Thus, it meant Australia has won their last four ODIs on the trot.
Earlier, in the five-match series against India, Australians were trailing 0-2. However, they had made a significant comeback by winning the remainder of the matches to seal series 3-2 after a nine-year gap on Indian soil.
In between, Australia’s main bowlers; Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood have struggled after nursing different injuries. Well, the youngsters have taken the onus on themselves to yield desired results.
Concurrently, it’s the last-gasp of preparation for Pakistan. On the other side, Australian players will partake in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Michael Vaughan lauds Australia’s supreme show ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019:
On those lines, the cricketer-turned-commentator Vaughan reiterated that Australia is relying on their progress. He believes their resurgence serves as a warning for their competitors in the quadrennial event.
“Warning… The Aussies are coming up the rails for the WC… !!!! #PakvsAUS,” Vaughan tweeted.
Besides, the potential return of Steven Smith and David Warner will bring stability within the Australian line-up. The Aussies are aiming to defend their title which they won in 2015 against Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in Melbourne.
Moreover, in the ICC World Cup 2019, Australia’s campaign will get underway against Afghanistan on 1st of June at the Bristol County Ground.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing crucial day-long series, visitors will face Pakistan in the second ODI on March 24 at the Sharjah.
