Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will meet on Wednesday night (27th March) at Eden Gardens (Kolkata). It will be the second home game for KKR and second away game for KXIP in the ongoing IPL 2019.

- Sunil Narine will play his 100th IPL match for KKR. He will be the third cricketer to play 100 IPL matches for KKR. Gautam Gambhir (108 IPL matches) and Yusuf Pathan (106 IPL matches) were the first two cricketers to achieve this feat.
- Sunil Narine needs one more wicket to become the leading wicket-taker against KXIP. He is currently the joint most wicket-taker against KXIP with 26 wickets. Umesh Yadav has also picked up 26 wickets against KXIP.
- Sunil Narine (360 wickets) needs to take three more wickets to become the second most wicket-taker in T20 cricket history.
