Stakes can’t be higher for WWE Raw as tonight marks the final episode before Wrestlemania 35. This is that particular night where we expect a galore of superstars eyeing to culminate the maximum buildup for their respective matches. We expect the same as a huge six-woman tag team match is official for the show where the three Wrestlemania main-eventers will have to team up.
Spoiler for a new Wrestlemania main event
Will Asuka be added to Wrestlemania main event?
As for the further segments, WWE confirmed the return of Brock Lesnar on the show who should confront Seth Rollins. Batista should appear as well for one final time before his Wrestlemania match with Triple H. Plus, a dream match is waiting on the card where Kurt Angle competes for one final time against Rey Mysterio. All of these and more will be waiting for us when WWE Raw emanates from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
WWE Raw superstar to make new record tonight
WWE confirmed the main event match for the go-home episode of WWE Raw for Wrestlemania 35, last week. It will be a one-of-a-kind affair where Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey teams with Becky Lynch and new SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. They will take on against the three members of The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan) in a six-woman tag team match.
This is going to be a not-to-be-missed match on WWE Raw that will hype up the main event of Wrestlemania 35 to the fullest extent. The big question heading into the match is that will these three women can co-exist with each other? Each one of Ronda, Becky, and Charlotte will try to pick up solo momentums that should lead up to a huge brawl even if they pick up the win defeating the Riotts.
A dream match is waiting for us on WWE Raw when Kurt Angle squares off against Rey Mysterio. The Olympic Hero and The Ultimate Underdog has had their past in the WWE including a Wrestlemania bout more than a decade ago. As for tonight, it will be the final match of Kurt Angle’s career on the flagship show of the WWE. We expect him to pick up the win to receive a well-deserved farewell at the hands of the Master of 619.
Brock Lesnar shows up in the Nation’s Capital of USA to face off Seth Rollins. WWE.com has hinted that the beast is not in a good mood after Rollins blasted Paul Heyman with some verbal jabs, last week. So it’s pretty sure that an ugly fight may break out between the two of them,
“With fire in his eyes and the WWE Universe at his back, Rollins affirmed, “We are going to WrestleMania, we are gonna beat Brock Lesnar, we are gonna take the Universal Title and we are gonna march into Suplex City and we are gonna burn it down!” How will Lesnar respond to the increasingly emboldened Architect, six nights before their WrestleMania showdown?”
Drew McIntyre has been dominating the Shield members for the past few weeks heading into Wrestlemania. None other than Roman Reigns will be waiting for him at the biggest stage of them all to whom he has already sent a straight-up message. For two times in a row, McIntyre delivered an onslaught attack on The Bog Dog. Tonight, we expect Reigns to fight back to pick up some much-needed momentums.
Batista has not showed-up on WWE Raw ever since the confirmation of his Wrestlemania match with Triple H. tonight, we expect him to make an appearance in a surprising capacity since the show will take place in his hometown of Washington. This should be one last appearance for The Animal before having his final match at the ‘show of shows’.
A WWE Hall of Famer will also return to action on WWE Raw. As announced by WWE.com, Bayley & Sasha Banks will team up with the newly reformed “Divas of Doom” (Beth Phoenix & Natalya). They will battle the combined forces of “The Samoan Slaughterhouse” (Nia Jax & Tamina) and The IIconics (Billie Key & Peyton Royce) in an Eight-Woman Tag Team Match. This would be a cross-brand match to hype up the women’s tag team title Wrestlemania match which the babyfaces should win.
