In the latest move, the Delhi High Court has asked its registrar to provide the status of those ejected players including Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila.
The discharged cricketers were served a notice following the appeal from police in connection with IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court didn’t consider the BCCI’s disciplinary committee’s verdict regarding the imposing of a life ban on Kerala-based speedster Sreesanth.

The apex body has cleared the air by suggesting the committee to rethink over their decision made for Sreesanth. It maintained the commission should re-evaluate it the quantum of punishment within a period of 90 days.
Their names cropped up in the 6,000-page charge-sheet. In the past, the trio was representing the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR).
For this matter, Justice Sunil Gaur has presided the bench. He has taken up the issue with a registrar. He will present the report regarding the status of the notice addressed to the respondents.
Back on November 18, 25, Delhi court has issued a notice to at least 36 persons whom against the petition was filed.
However, the court revealed it will access the detailed report while settling the case for Wednesday (April 10).
“List the matter before the registrar who shall give a report whether any of the respondents remain unserved,” PTI quoted the statement from the court.
While terming the trial court order as untenable, Delhi Police has put forth the reason. They maintained to clear the players isn’t right.

Earlier, the police had taken up the case at the high court in September 2015. It came after the trial court has acquitted the cricketers.
Recently, Dayan Krishnan, who’s serving as a senior advocate for the Delhi Police reiterated the respondents were served the notice.
The police earlier invoked the MCOCA. However, it saw the trial court completely disagreeing following the imposing of it on the accused.
“The best case could have been under Public Gambling Act. But that also is not prima facie established from the evidence placed on record by the prosecution,” the trial court stated.
In conclusion, police have already revealed about uncovering the evidence to put them on trial for the alleged conspiracy relating the Indian Penal Code apart from the MCOCA.
