Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was seen playing with Shikhar Dhawan’s son Zorawar after the conclusion of the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Pant was seen swivelling Zorawar in the stadium and was seen having fun. Meanwhile, Pant had gathered the news when Australia’s Test skipper Tim Paine had asked him to babysit his kids during the tour Down Under.
Subsequently, Rishabh Pant had taken a picture with Bon Paine, wife of Tim Paine and their kids. The picture had gone viral on social media as Pant had shown great sportsman spirit.
Pant had scored 46.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant had scored a fine knock of 46 runs from 31 balls. The southpaw batsman had scored four fours and two sixes. However, he had another chance to finish the game but could add the finishing touches to the run chase. In fact, Rishabh Pant should have finished the game but needs to learn to play according to the match situation.
On the other hand, Zorawar’s father Shikhar Dhawan was back in form. The southpaw batsman was at his best as he scored a free-flowing knock of 97 runs from 63 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes.
The left-hander batted at the top of his game as struck his runs at a strike rate of 154. Thus, Dhawan will like to continue his good form going in the tournament. Consequently, he was awarded the Man of the match for his fine knock.
Ergo, it is positive signs for Delhi Capitals as Dhawan is back in form. In fact, it is imperative that Dhawan scores his runs at an impressive strike rate for the franchise as he has all the experience under his belt.
Delhi Capitals will play their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on 14th April.
