Sunrisers Hyderabad opener David Warner who played in his final match of the 12th season of IPL signed of in style as Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a convincing 45 runs victory against the Kings XI Punjab. David Warner scored a brilliant 81 and was instrumental in helping SRH coast to a comfortable victory against Punjab at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday.
The southpaw is currently the leading run scorer in the tournament by a big margin. He has smashed 692 runs in the tournament so far. The 2nd batsman in the list is KL Rahul who is more than 170 runs behind Warner which goes onto prove the dominance of David Warner all through the tournament. He has provided the much-needed starts to SRH on most occasions which have kept them in the competition.

David Warner has currently left for Australia and will join the Australian team on May 2 ahead of the 2019 World Cup. Australia will enter the tournament as the defending champions as they hope to defend their coveted title. Following Warner’s exceptional 81 against Punjab, Warner’s wife Candice shared an emotional message for his husband and shower praise on the left-handed batsman.

David Warner has scored more than 500 runs in all the 4 seasons he has been part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad. In 2016, Warner led Hyderabad to their maiden and only IPL title till date. He also smashed 848 runs in 2016 and led from the front. After his final innings for SRH this season, he thanked his fans for the support all through the season.
