Chennai Super Kings were able to get a big win of 80 runs against Delhi Capitals in the 50th match of the ongoing season. Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first. However, the hosts got off to a slow start as Chennai Super Kings openers could add only three runs in the first three overs.
The pressure started to rise and Shane Watson had to go for the big shot. Meanwhile, Suresh Raina was able to hit the ground running. The left-hander timed the ball with perfection as was able to check the right boxes.

Dominating performance from CSK.
Raina scored a fine knock of 59 runs off just 37 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. On the other hand, Faf du Plessis struggled to get going in his innings. The right-hander scored 39 runs from 42 balls.
On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni ended the innings on a high for the reigning champions. Jadeja was able to get going from the get-go and scored a quickfire knock of 25 runs from 10 balls.
Furthermore, MS Dhoni took his time in the initial phase. However, Dhoni as he always does was able to change gears and rode in the topmost gear. The talisman batsman scored a blistering knock of 22-ball 44 with the help of four fours and three sixes.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals could not get off to a good start as they lost the wicket of Prithvi Shaw early on in the innings. The Chennai Super Kings spinners Imran Tahir and Harbhajan Singh breathed down the neck of the opposition batsman. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets whereas Imran Tahir scalped four wickets.
Shreyas Iyer top-scored for the tourists but the Delhi Capitals found no support from the other end as the visitors kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
Here is how Twitter reacted to CSK’s win:
GOODNESS, WHAT A STUMPING. No one else had a clue. This is ridiculously brilliant from MS Dhoni yet again. #CSKvsDC

"Are you watching closely?"
MS Dhoni's stumping is the closest there is to real magic in cricket. #CSKvsDC #IPL2019 pic.twitter.com/eiVChZhuMF

He’s always been a big hitter but over the last year you can see #MSD adding more muscle to his physique. Worked definitely on his body strength as he’s aged. That’s there to be seen ??#CSKvsDC #CSK #DC

Along with the Dhoni stumping, excellent television work with that last angle from ground level to confirm stumping of Shreyas Iyer.????#starsportsIndia #bccitv

The frustration of watching Rishabh Pant bat. Fabulous first shot and then a big hit to the fielder. Had the opportunity of controlling a tough run chase.

2 runs in the first 2 overs. And 179 in the end. Just the MSD things. The 10 ball 25 run knock of Jadeja was gold dust too. #CSKvDC #IPL
