ToggleIn the last over of the Sunrisers Hyderabad innings, a controversial run-out took place. Deepak Hooda and Rashid Khan tried to steal a single of a bye. However, Keemo Paul who was the bowler came in the way of Deepak Hooda. Rishabh Pant missed the direct hit at the striker’s end however he was able to hit the stumps at non-striker end.
Hooda fell on the pitch when Keemo Paul was trying to stop the ball. Subsequently, Shreyas Iyer came to discuss the same with his bowler. Iyer decided to withdraw the appeal and signalled the same to the standing umpire.

Rishabh Pant was not impressed.
However, Delhi Capitals wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant was not impressed by Shreyas Iyer‘s call. Pant came up to discuss the same and told his captain that Paul had not INTENTIONALLY come in Hooda’s way. Subsequently, the right-hander had to walk back to the pavilion.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad has posted a fighting score of 162 runs after Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first. SRH got off to a good start as Saha and Guptill added 31 runs in the first three overs.
Guptill looked threatening during his knock of 36 runs off 19 balls. However, the opener’s knock was put paid by Amit Mishra when the right-hander could not clear the leg-side boundary.
Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson could not get going in their batting innings as they scored 30 and 28 runs respectively. However, Vijay Shankar added the finishing touches to the Sunrisers Hyderabad innings as he scored 11-ball 25. Furthermore, Mohammed Nabi scored 20 runs from 13 balls.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have got off to a good start as Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have added 49 runs in the first five overs. Shaw is the aggressor as he is batting on unbeaten 50 off 31 balls. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant is yet to bat in the innings
