After IPL auction 2016, there is a big question arises that who is Nathu Singh to be bought with INR 3.20 crores from the 10 lakhs base price by Mumbai Indians.
Here are his details:
1) Nathu Singh was born on 8th September 1995 at Jaipur, Rajasthan. He is the son of a wire factory worker.
2) Nathu Singh is a right-arm pacer whose average speed is 140 kmph while sometimes it touches 145 kmph.
3) Nathu Singh plays for Rajasthan in first-class cricket. He made debut for Rajasthan in March 2015 (in T20). He has played 6 first-class matches, 9 List A matches and 11 T20 matches for Rajasthan where he has picked up 12, 14 and 21 wickets respectively.
4) Nathu Singh had taken 7 wickets in the 2nd innings in his debut first-class match against Delhi. He picked up 8 wickets from that match.
5) Nathu Singh had been selected for Indian Board President’s XI during the South Africa’s 2-days practice match at India in October 2015. He had picked up 1 wicket in that match.
6) Nathu Singh wants to break former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar’s fast bowling record. He said, “I loved watching Shoaib Akhtar bowl. He was so quick. I watched him and decided that I want to bowl so fast that I break his record. And for that I have to work really hard, for which I am absolutely prepared.”
Though it is very early, but the 20-years old pace bowler is looking very promising at this stage. Hope he will make himself as a good pace bowler and give a great service to the national team in future.
