After a historic clean sweep in the T20I series on Australia tour, India will now face Sri Lanka for 3-match T20I series at home. The current no.1 T20I team India will play 1st T20I of the series on Tuesday at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

Indian team is looking very strong and are the favourites in this series. The players have more experience than the current Sri Lankan squad. In addition, the team is currently in very good form.

The top-order batsmen are in a dream form at the current moment. On the other hand, some former Indian star cricketers made the comeback in the squad. Also, the spinners are in very good form.

It looks like, Indian skipper MS Dhoni will not make many changes for the first T20I match. India may go with three pacers and two spinners along with Yuvraj as an all-rounder. Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar may come back in the XI while all-rounder Hardik Pandya may be omitted from the XI. On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh may have to wait for getting a chance in the India XI.

India’s probable XI: MS Dhoni (c & wk), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Pawan Negi, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra.
