One of the major surprises in the Indian Premier League 2019 was the failure of Kuldeep Yadav. The local stars and the foreigners picked his line and lengths with ease to smash him out of the park more often than not. It also led to his removal from the playing XI. However, now, his focus will be on the Indian team.
You can’t say to MS Dhoni – Kuldeep Yadav
Meanwhile, in a quick interview at the CEAT Awards function, Kuldeep Yadav was asked to answer whether he ever opposed the plan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the course of the game. To which, Kuldeep Yadav in a fun mode quoted that there are many situations when MS Dhoni’s plans went wrong.
Despite things go wrong, one can’t say anything to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as he is the senior man in the playing squad. Further, he also reveals that Dhoni won’t speak much until or unless, he feels that there might be a certain plan, which would work.
“There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him,” Kuldeep said at the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards on Monday. He doesn’t speak much. He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something,” added Kuldeep.
Well, the duo will soon take on the field together when India open their campaign in the forthcoming World Cup. Despite Dhoni going off on a few occasions, he will once again mentor Kuldeep, and Yuzvendra Chahal, in the upcoming showpiece event.
