Spinner has always been the major influence in the cricketing world over the years. But, of late, the spinner category has been divided into two sections namely Wrist Spinner and Finger Spinner. But, then comes Kuldeep Yadav, who is altogether a different spinner, as he belongs to such a rare category called Chinaman. Meanwhile, he credits Virat Kohli for his success.

The last few years have been sensational for Kuldeep Yadav in Indian National Cricket Team. He outsmarted top-class batting lineups to help India lift the trophies. And also, he got a great understanding with Chahal and knows their strengths to make things fall in the place for the Virat Kohli-led Indian side.

Virat Kohli asks us to be aggressive – Kuldeep Yadav

Speaking of the successful career, Kuldeep Yadav quoted that the skipper Virat Kohli has given him great freedom to attack the batsman rather than going for the defensive approach. Further, he went on add saying that they wouldn’t have been successful if Virat Kohli hasn’t given him the freedom.

“You need a skipper who backs you and believes in your ability to shine on the big stage. You think we could have been so successful if Kohli bhai had not given us the freedom to attack? I don’t think so,” Kuldeep told PTI in an interview.

On IPL form:

Kuldeep Yadav failed to make things fall in place for the team in the Indian Premier League 2019. However, the spinner believes that there is a lot of difference between playing in IPL and in ICC World Cup 2019.

“IPL is very different than World Cup. There are players who have done well in IPL but have struggled to make a mark for the country. I’ve matured as a bowler and by no means it will affect my performance in the World Cup,” Kuldeep said.

However, his performance will be crucial for the Indian National Cricket team in the ICC World Cup 2019. He will be accompanied by Yuzvendra Chahal in the tournament, which would help India take wickets in the middle overs of the game.
