One of the tough things for the game of cricket in England is its unpredictable weather. We already came across a couple of matches being washed out and the upcoming game between India and New Zealand is also on the verge of being a washed out game.

After the scintillating performances against South Africa and Australia, Virat Kohli-led side is scheduled to take on New Zealand men in their upcoming clash. However, it seems like the weather isn’t interested in watching the game, as the reports say heavy rains predicted.

There have been persistent showers across the United Kingdom for the past two days. Meanwhile, the local Met department has issued a warning for the residents. “A Yellow Warning for rain is in force in the Nottingham area for most of this week,” local website ‘Nottingham post’ reported.

”There is a chance that heavy prolonged rain could lead to localised flooding and disruption to transport,” it said.

Practice session gets cancelled:

As per the reports, the rain will continue till 7 PM on Wednesday. Further, it comes to know that the temperatures would be very low, which means that the people are expected to have their jackets and Sweaters on.

“That lighter rain is expected. It would finally come to an end at about lunchtime on Thursday. The maximum temperatures will be around 13 degree Celsius. The minimum overnight temperatures will be around 10 or 11 degree Celsius,” the website reported.

The Indian team arrived in Nottingham on Monday evening from London, having won their second consecutive match, against Australia. The team management informed that a practice session has now been scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, weather permitting.

Well, it would be an interesting clash if the weather provides a game. Both the sides were unbeaten in the tournament so far and would like to add one more win to their kitty on Wednesday.
