Pakistan had a dismal show so far at the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. Except for their game against England, the Men in Green have looked mediocre in all departments. Thus, they draw flak for a poor run at the quadrennial event. Well, underfire skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed has hit back at critic which included former Pakistan paceman Shoaib Akhtar, who lambasted Sarfraz for not maintaining his fitness and eventually for some indecisive moments during the high-profile clash against the Men in Blue.
In five matches, Pakistan lost three whereas, their game against Sri Lanka washed out.
Recently, their lost against India has witnessed a severe criticism which further saw saying that they’re acting like gods on the television sets. Also, the wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz has hinted at Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib.
While hitting out at critics Sarfraz further admitted the fact that they haven’t been too good, but they’re trying their best. Ahead of South Africa game in Lord’s Sarfraz maintained they’re keen to give their hundred per cent.

Earlier, following an 89-run loss against arch-rivals India on June 16 in Manchester. Shoaib has lavished out at Pakistani players while referring Sarfraz as ‘brainless’.
He also added Sarfraz had made a blunder by deciding against team’s strength which has been their batting. Pertinently, Sarfraz has decided to bowl first in the rain-truncated game.
“I can’t understand how Sarfraz can be so brainless. How could he forget that we don’t chase very well. Knowing our strength, which is bowling, is important. The game was half-won by Pakistan when Sarfaraz won the toss, but he tried hard to lose the match,” Shoaib revealed on his YouTube channel.
Currently, Pakistan are going stronger with the bat against the Proteas. After winning the toss. Pakistan recorded 59 runs without loss in 10 overs. The ongoing game is crucial for both the teams.
