The latest reports suggest that the Windies legendary cricketer Brian Lara has been admitted in the Global Hospital in Mumbai. He experienced pain in his Chest, which made him be admitted in the hospital on Tuesday.
Currently, Lara is in India as an expert for a sports network for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Brian Lara has been admitted to Global Hospital in Parel. News agency ANI said the hospital will issue a statement shortly.

Doctors performed angiography of Brian Lara:
Brian Lara, who turned 50 on May 2, is one of the greatest batsmen in history. He holds the record for the highest individual score, an unbeaten 501 and is the only man to score 400 in a Test match. Lara played 131 Tests and 299 ODIs for West Indies from 1990 to 2007.
According to media reports, doctors at the hospital performed angiography of Lara but did not go for angioplasty as they did not see any risk in angiography report.

Brian Lara is viewed as the greatest batsman to play for West Indies. He currently holds the record for the highest individual Test match score. He had scored 400 runs against England in 2004.
Lara also has the highest individual score in first-class cricket as he scored 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham in 1994. Lara has 11,953 runs to his name in the Test format and 10,405 runs in the ODI format.
Brian Lara was one of the consistent run-scorers during his times. He was lauded as the best alongside Sachin Tendulkar for his incredible work for Windies across the formats. However, as of now, the stylish southpaw is doing well with his pain and set to resume his work.
