During the 2011 World Cup, the entire team wants to present the World Cup to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar for his exceptional service to the country. For the same, the entire team played with Zeal to make it happen. Meanwhile, in 2019, the childhood coach of Rohit Sharma feels that he is playing for MS Dhoni, who is playing his last World Cup.
So far, it has been a brilliant season for Rohit Sharma. He smashed quite a few records to his name to help the Indian National Cricket Team taste the success against quality oppositions.
Rohit Sharma has been in sensational form in the 2019 World Cup. He scored his 5th hundred in only 8 innings. Rohit has now 3 successive hundreds in this World Cup. He had scored 102 against England on June 30 and 104 against Bangladesh on July 2.

It is a strong belief that MS Dhoni would be heading for retirement as the ICC World Cup 2019 concludes. In all likeliness, this is going to be the last 50-over World Cup for the 37-year-old who has looked past his best for the most part of this edition in England & Wales.
Rohit Sharma is playing with maturity – Dinesh Lad
Speaking about Rohit’s performance in this World Cup, his childhood coach Dinesh Lad said that the 32-year-old has always looked likely to score a century whenever he manages to stick around for the first powerplay or so.
“He is playing with maturity and knows if he stays at the wicket for 10-12 overs he can go on to make a hundred. He is the vice-captain of the team and knows he has to stay at the crease with Virat Kohli as long as possible,” said Lad on Monday.

“Since Dhoni promoted him to open the innings and he became successful from there, it seems like he wants to gift him the Cup as it is his (Dhoni’s) last World Cup,” Lad who is the father of last season Mumbai Ranji Trophy skipper Siddhesh Lad, guessed.
The Mumbai lad is in his dream form and firing on all cylinders. If India plans to bring home the World Cup, it is highly significant for Rohit to continue smashing the bowlers the way he has been doing throughout the tournament.
