Every cricket team gives special importance to produce talented young cricketers who can carry the team successfully for a long time. The talented youngsters are always the future of the cricket team.

Indian national cricket team has observed many talented youngsters in international cricket. However, some of them have achieved tremendous successes, while some of them have failed to sustain their international career.

10. Ishant Sharma – 18 years and 265 days

The tall right-arm pacer Ishant Sharma made his Test debut at the age of 18 years and 265 days. In May 2007, Ishant made his international debut during the Dhaka Test where India played against the hosts Bangladesh. While India won that match by an innings and 239 runs, Ishant had the bowling figures of 7-1-19-1 and 6-1-30-0.

With the time progress, Ishant has become one of the top pacers in Indian cricket history. He has played 90 Tests, 80 ODIs and 14 T20Is where he has taken 267, 115 and eight wickets respectively.
