Based on the complaint of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Delhi Police has recently arrested an assistant coach for taking bribes from the cricketers to put their names into the Ranji sides. The accused has also been involved in the frauds.
India is a cricket-loving country where many youngsters dream of playing this game and once to represent the country. However, some wrongdoers take an advantage to influence the youngsters to move to the wrong paths to upgrade their dreams.
Recently, some wrongdoing incidents have come up in Indian domestic cricket, including the bribing. Observing these negative actions, the BCCI has become strict on this, and they are taking the best possible actions.

Recently, some players have complained to the BCCI about an assistant coach who is taking money from the players. In exchange of that, he is ensuring the players for selection in the domestic U16 and U19 squads.
The complainant players have claimed that they paid the assistant coach, but they were never selected. They have also claimed that the coach took them to some places for matches.
Later, the BCCI filed a complaint to the Delhi Police. Soon, the Delhi Police Crime Branch registered a case on 5th March. Based on the BCCI complaint, the Delhi Police Crime Branch put the under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 B of the IPC.
Finally, on Thursday (25th July), the Delhi Police arrested the accused assistant coach.
