Misbah-ul-Haq has been proclaimed as a Pakistan coach and chief selector by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier this week. Earlier, Mickey Arthur‘s contract as a Pakistan coach was not renewed after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. After the poor performance of Pakistan team in that World Cup, the whole coaching staff has been changed. It is known that the new coach is being given good amount for his position.
Misbah-ul-Haq will be paid well for his Job. According to geo.tv, he will be paid mammoth Rs. 2.8 million for his double role of coach and selector. The former chief selector was paid Rs 1.6 million for his role. Now, Misbah will not be allowed to play any competitive cricket. He has also a great responsibility for improving the performance of the Pakistan national cricket team.

The Pakistan team has to need drastically change their technique to get a good start. Next fight of the team is with Sri Lanka from 27th September this year. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed will also need to improve his captaincy in the home ground.
Misbah ul Haq has a big responsibility

This year was not a good start for Pakistan as they performed badly in the ODIs. They lost all the format across the series against South Africa. Australia cleaned swipe Pakistan in the five-match ODI series and almost the same was with England (Pakistan lost by 4-0 in five-match ODI series). Neither their performance in the World Cup 2019 was good.
Waqar Younis has been selected as the bowling coach who was earlier the Head Coach of the Pakistan team. Both the newly selected have great responsibilities in their shoulder for the next three year.

Talking about Misbah performance as a former captain, he gave 26 wins in 56 Test matches to Pakistan. He proved to be the most beneficial captain of the country.
The fast bowler Waqar played 87 Tests and 262 One Day Internationals (ODI) for Pakistan. He was the bowling coach of Sunriser Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2013 and 2014.
