Australian cricketers Glenn Maxwell and Nic Maddinson have recently announced their break from cricket to deal with their respective mental issues. Those announcements were not a big-time ago but both have now returned to the cricket.
In the present generation of professional cricket, many players have run from mental and physical stress at least one moment of their career. Recently, some cricketers have revealed to face this issue in their career. Even, the Indian captain Virat Kohli also faced this situation during the toughest period of his international career.

On 31st October, Glenn Maxwell announced his short break from cricket to deal with his mental issues. Due to this reason, Maxwell missed out the home T20I series against Pakistan.

Later, on November 9, Nic Maddinson gave a similar reason and opted out himself from Australia A squad.

On Saturday (23rd November), both of the Aussie cricketers, Glenn Maxwell and Nic Maddinson have returned to the cricket. They participated in the Victorian Premier Cricket where Maxwell served in Fitzroy Doncaster and Maddinson played for St Kilda. Both of their teams won their respective matches and both of these cricketers put the important contributions.

Fitzroy Doncaster beat Geelong where Glenn Maxwell scored five unbeaten runs and also took two wickets. Meanwhile, St Kilda defeated Casey-South Melbourne where Nic Maddinson scored 58 runs for his winning team.

Glenn Maxwell last played an international match during the home T20I series against Sri Lanka in late October 2019. In his last international innings, Maxwell scored 62 runs against Sri Lanka in Adelaide T20I. The 31-year-old popular Australian limited-overs all-rounder has played seven Tests, 110 ODIs and 61 T20Is since his international debut in August 2012.
On the other hand, the 27-year-old opening batsman Nic Maddinson made his international debut in October 2013. He has played three Tests and six T20Is for Australia. His last Test was in December 2016 during the Melbourne Test against Pakistan. Meanwhile, he played his last T20I on 6th July 2018 against Zimbabwe at Harare.
