Rahul Chahar, the 20-year-old Indian leg-spinner, recently organised his engagement ceremony where he got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Ishani. His cousin brother Deepak Chahar, who is an Indian pace bowler, recently shared a picture and a video of this ceremony.
In recent times, Chahar brothers have shined in Indian cricket. Both Deepak Chahar and Rahul Chahar have been considered the future of the Indian national cricket team by some cricket experts. The 20-year-old Rahul Chahar is a leg-spinner while the 27-year-old Deepak Chahar is a right-arm pacer.

Just a month ago, Deepak Chahar claimed the record match bowling figures in the T20I cricket history. On 10th November 2019, during the Nagpur T20I against Bangladesh, the right-arm pacer Deepak Chahar had the incredible bowling figures of 3.2-0-7-6. He is currently in a great form with the ball as he has played only ODI and 10 T20Is since his international debut in July 2018.

Rahul Chahar has played only T20I
On the other hand, Rahul Chahar has earned the limelight at a very early age. The 20-year-old leg-spinner made his international debut during the Providence T20I against the host side Windies on 6th August 2019. While India won that match by seven wickets, Rahul had the bowling figures of 3-0-27-1. In that game, he dismissed the Caribbean captain Carlos Brathwaite (10) who was caught out at long-on by Washington Sundar. It is the only international match that he has played till the date.

Though Rahul Chahar was in the T20I squad during the home T20I series against Bangladesh, he has missed out both the limited-overs squads for the ongoing home series against Windies.
Rahul Chahar made his professional cricket debut for Rajasthan in November 2016 through the first-class cricket. The leggie has already played 16 first-class matches, 35 List A games and 35 T20s where he has picked up 64, 60 and 39 wickets respectively.
In the IPL career, while Rahul Chahar served for the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in 2017, he is now playing for Mumbai Indians (MI). He has played 16 IPL matches and scalped 15 wickets. In the IPL 2019, Chahar played 13 games for MI.
On Thursday (12th December), on his Instagram account, Deepak Chahar shared a picture and a video of Rahul Chahar’s engagement ceremony.
