The Indian Premier League has already started to promote this tournament in an interesting way. The promotions have followed mostly based on recent trending social media banters on the star players and top teams. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been already involved in these promotions in separate ways.

Now, MS Dhoni has announced his return to the cricket in style. Since the heartbreaking semi-final against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Dhoni hasn’t played the cricket match. Due to his silence on his cricket future, there was strong speculation about his retirement from cricket.

CSK-MS Dhoni: A strong bonding story

MS Dhoni is leading CSK from the inaugural IPL edition (2008). Apart from the two-year suspension period (2016-2017), Dhoni has never left CSK. Once again the CSK will play in the upcoming IPL season under the leadership of Dhoni.

Dhoni-led CSK is one of the most successful teams in T20 cricket history. Under his captaincy, CSK have won three IPL trophies and two now-defunct Champions League T20s. Moreover, in their 10 IPL seasons, Dhoni-led CSK have never finished under the top four positions, rather than, they only failed twice to reach the IPL final.
