Like the other countries of the world, India is also fighting against COVID-19 or coronavirus. During the lockdown on last Sunday (22nd March), the entire country joined to soundable applause to appreciate essential service providers. While the former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif also took part in this initiative with his family, he also faced religious attacks.

COVID-19 or coronavirus has shaken the entire world. While more than 340,000 people have been affected in this virus, more than 14,000 deaths have been reported. The coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in some countries, while this trend has started in India too.

While daily routine has been stopped in the entire world due to the coronavirus outbreak, some top affected countries are facing the lockdowns for some days.

Learning from the situation, India has also taken this action. At first, the entire country was lockdown on last Sunday. Now, most of the parts of the country are facing the same process till the end of this March.

During a recent speech, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested to everyone to cheer up the essential service providers by clapping or ringing the bell for five minutes from 5 PM on 22nd March. As it was the complete lockdown in the country, everyone could do this from their home.

Many people, including some top celebrities, took this initiative seriously and joined in this applause moment. While some Indian cricketers also followed this initiative, Mohammad Kaif was one of them.

Along with his wife and two children, Kaif came to the balcony to make a sound to applause essential service providers. While Kaif and his wife were clapping, their children were ringing the bells. After capturing this video, Kaif posted that on his social media accounts.
