With no match scheduled till 15th April because of lockdown, cricketers have become more active on social media. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has also subscribed to all the popular streaming websites to spend his time during the 21-day lockdown as India continues to fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Players are engaging with their fans through live streaming on different sites. Bumrah joined the live streaming with India’s vice-captain Rohit Sharma on Instagram. They both revealed how are they spending time during self-isolation.
During the conversations, Bumrah told Rohit that he is utilizing the time to catch up with all the web series. He further added that he also helping his mother in doing household work and also learning gardening.

“Doing jhaadu-katka, helping out mummy and also doing gardening a bit. This is a different experience. I wake up every day and think about what to do,” Bumrah said.
“I am watching Special Ops right now. Have taken the subscription of all streaming websites, Netflix, Amazon, etc. I will try and watch everything now,” Bumrah said.
Both Mumbai Indians players further talked about the Indian Premier League 2020 which is under the threat of cancellations because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in India. The 13th edition of the impending league was set to start from 29th March with the clash between the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. But due to the pandemic, IPL 2020 has been postponed to start from 15th April.

MI captain Rohit Sharma said that he was excited to play this season because of the new players they had bought in the auction. In IPL 2020 auction, MI traded Trent Boult from Delhi Capitals and they also bought Big Bash League hard-hitter Chris Lynn.
Rohit said that nobody would have ever thought there would be a day like this and hopes everything gets normal soon.
