Like many other members of the world cricket family, the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar also recently connected with the fans through social media accounts. During a recent Q&A session on the Instagram account, Arjun revealed his favourite all-rounder.

All-rounder plays a crucial role in a team during a cricket match. A proper talented all-rounder is a significant asset of a team. The smart and talented all-rounder provides extra crucial support in the team which provides the extra depth in the team in every aspect.

The 20-year-old Arjun Tendulkar is also a pace-bowling all-rounder. Arjun is the left-arm pacer and left-handed batsman. While entire India is currently under the lockdown period amid coronavirus outbreak, Arjun has taken the social media to connect with the cricket fans. Recently, on his official Instagram account, the youngster faced the Q&A session where he answered some questions of the cricket fans.

Ben Stokes is Arjun Tendulkar’s favourite all-rounder

A user asked him about his favourite all-rounder. In reply, Arjun named English pace-bowling all-rounder Ben Stokes, who is known as one of the greatest all-rounders in international cricket history. The 28-year-old Stokes is the second-ranked Test and ODI all-rounders at present.

The all-rounder Ben Stokes made his international debut in the second half of 2011. He has already played 63 Tests, 95 ODIs and 26 T20Is. With the time progress, he has become as one of most crucial members of the England cricket team. In his international career, the left-handed batsman has scored 4056 Test runs, 2682 ODI runs and 305 T20I runs. Also, the right-arm pacer has taken 147 Test wickets, 70 ODI wickets and 14 T20I wickets.

Stokes played an important role for England to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which was England’s first-ever Cricket World Cup. In the final match of that tournament against New Zealand, Stokes won the Player of the Match award for playing crucial roles during the match (84*) and the Super-Over.

Stokes also won the Player of the Series award jointly with Steven Smith during the Ashes 2019 (Compton–Miller Medal) where his all-round performances played a massive role to draw the Ashes series.
