Indian cricketer Murali Vijay has named Australia’s women cricketer Ellyse Perry as his dinner partner. The batsman has also chosen his fellow cricketer Shikhar Dhawan for his dinner partner. He revealed some of his wishes during the live session on Instagram.
Vijay, who last represented for India in 2018, plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League. The 36-year-old has been retained by the franchise for this year’s impending edition of the popular league. The opening batsman has played 61 Test matches, 17 ODIs and 9 T20Is for India.
Amid the lockdown because of coronavirus, the 13th edition of IPL, which was earlier scheduled to start from 29th March, has been postponed indefinitely till the circumstances get normal. To engage with the fans, CSK is scheduling live chats with the players. In this regard, during a live session with Murali Vijay, he took some questions with the fans and answered.
Murali Vijay Wants To Have Dinner With Ellyse Perry And Shikhar Dhawan:
When he was asked about two cricketers he would want to have dinner with, Murali Vijay said it would be Australia Women’s cricket star Ellyse Perry and his fellow India opener Shikhar Dhawan.
“Ellyse Perry. I want to have dinner with her. She is so beautiful. And Shikhar Dhawan any day. He is a fun guy. Just that he will speak Hindi and I will be conversing in Tamil,” Murali Vijay said.
During the chat, he was talked about MS Dhoni‘s captaincy and named his favourite players. He has also claimed that he is also getting bored without cricket, and once the conditions get normal, he will be ready to play cricket at any given time.
Vijay plays for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. He last played for his state in the Ranji Trophy 2019/20 season.
