Three-time runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are desperate to win their first Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy in the forthcoming IPL 2020, which the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host from 19th September to 10th November 2020.
Virat Kohli-led RCB have a good squad for the IPL 2020 as they can strongly challenge any team. As they have a strong squad, there are some RCB players who are unlikely to earn an opportunity in the playing XI in the forthcoming IPL season.
Here are the three RCB players who are unlikely to play at least one match in the IPL 2020
Pavan Deshpande

In the 2020 IPL auction, RCB bought uncapped Pavan Deshpande for INR 2o lakhs (base price). Earlier, this side bought him during the 2018 IPL auction. But he didn’t make his IPL debut in that edition. While the RCB has many star players, Pavan is unlikely to make his IPL debut in the upcoming edition too.
The 30-year-old Karnataka all-rounder Pavan has played 20 T20s, where the left-handed batsman has scored 426 runs with an incredible average of 47.33. Out of his 15 T20 innings, the left-handed batsman has hit three half-centuries, including his best knock 63 runs. His T20 strike-rate is also incredible, which is 149.47. Also, as an off-spinner, he has taken four wickets.
RCB have the overseas all-rounders like Moeen Ali and Isuru Udana. Though Pavan can also be useful for this team, his chance is very thin to appear in the playing XI during the IPL 2020.
