Former Indian World Cup-winning captain and one of the greatest wicket-keeper batsmen, the 39-year-old MS Dhoni announced his international retirement on 15th August 2020.
During his long international career between December 2004 and July 2019, MS Dhoni played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is, where he made many great records in international cricket.

One of the successful captains in international cricket history, MS Dhoni played the captaincy role of the Indian team between 2007 and 2018. During his captaincy tenure, Dhoni led the Indian team in 332 matches which are a record of most international matches as a captain. The second-best record holder is the former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting, who played the captaincy role in 324 international matches (Australia & ICC World XI).
