Since WWE didn’t include the NXT brand as part of their Survivor Series brand vs brand battle, the preliminary thought is that some call-ups are evident and one of them would be Rhea Ripley. They didn’t implement the black and gold brand in the 2020 WWE Draft, either that appeared to be yet another big hint of the same.
It’s now being reported that WWE is are bound to make some NXT call-ups again, and they already have selected a Superstar who is likely to be on top of their list.

Rhea Ripley Arriving On WWE Main Roster?

Give Me Sport recently spoke to Shotzi Blackheart where they wanted to know about potential NXT call-ups. She name-dropped Rhea Ripley saying she should’ve gone down to either Raw or SmackDown by now. As per her below comments, Shotzi belongs to her,
“The main roster is the main goal. That’s why we’re at NXT. So every time someone moves up to the main roster it’s awesome. I think Rhea Ripley [will be called up next]. I don’t know what’s taking so long, honestly! She belongs up there, she’s a superstar. I think very soon she’ll be gone. That makes me sad because she’s one of my favorite tag team partners, but she deserves it!”

It’ll be interesting to see if and when Rhea Ripley gets her call-up to the WWE main roster which is a matter of speculation, for quite sometimes. She had already impressed the world via her reigns as NXT and NXT UK Women’s Champions. Now it’s time for her to go toe-to-toe with the cornerstones of the Women’s Evolution in the WWE.
She may not be on the title picture, anymore but that doesn’t mean she has lost the steps. Rhea Ripley’s recent outing at Halloween Havoc against Raquel Gonzalez was able to create a lot of attention and Shotzi Blackheart can’t wait to see what her NXT colleague could possibly be up for.

It should be noted that the Australian superstar already tasted how it feels to be on the main roster. Rhea Ripley dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36 in early April. She also lost to Shirai in a Triple Threat, with Flair, at “Takeover: In Your House” in early June. While speaking to Phillip Martinez of Newsweek she stated of feeling like the spotlight on her has been diminished but this could make her ready for the bigger picture.
“I feel like [the spotlight on me] diminished a little bit, but we all have to share the spotlight,” Ripley said. “I had my time to shine and it will come again, but right now Io is the NXT Women’s Champion and I’m working my way back up to be in that spotlight again. Whether that comes or not, we’ll see. I’ve got to try other things and face other people as well. I had my time and everyone is going to have their time and I’m just happy to be here and wrestling and kicking butt.”
