Jason Holder, the all-rounder of SunRisers Hyderabad who starred in IPL 2020 Eliminator vs RCB with three wickets and unbeaten 24 runs, has credited New Zealand skipper batsman Kane Williamson for making his job easy.
Jason Holder took three wickets and played an unbeaten knock of 24 off 21 balls against RCB in IPL 2020 Eliminator. Kane Williamson and Jason Holder forged an unbeaten partnership of 65 runs to see SRH qualify for Qualifier 2 vs Delhi Capitals as SRH defeated RCB by 6 wickets.

Jason Holder’s All Round Performance See Hyderabad Winning
The inclusion of Jason Holder as a replacement for Mitchell Marsh in the playing XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad has done wonders for the team as the team defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in Eliminator of IPL 2020 and extended their winning run to 4 matches. Jason Holder starred in the match again with his all-round performance. He has scored 55 runs in 3 innings and taken 13 wickets in six matches averaging only 14.07.
The West Indian captain took wickets of Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal and Shivam Dube in the 2nd,4th over and 16th over respectively to finish with match figures of 3 for 25 in his 4 overs. With the bat, he partnered with Kane Williamson (50*) for extremely vital 65 unbeaten runs off 47 deliveries.
SRH needed 9 runs from the last over, and only one run had come in the first 2 deliveries by Navdeep Saini, but Jason Holder held his nerves to smash back-to-back boundaries on the 3rd and 4th delivery to finish off the match in style.

In a post-match conversation with Kane Williamson, Jason Holder was credited for being an important aspect and filling the all-rounder’s slot successfully in the team. The lanky cricketer quickly acknowledged the support of Kane Williamson’s cool and calm presence at the other end.
Jason Holder: Key Wickets In Powerplay Were Crucial
The West Indies captain praised his New Zealand counterpart, saying that his calm and assured presence makes his job easier. SunRisers Hyderabad opted for Jason Holder as a replacement for Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh who injured his right ankle in the opening match against RCB.
“All-rounder role is very important but we have a cool, calm customer like you (Williamson) who makes a job easier. Probably didn’t get the flow as the wicket was a little bit tricky but good to finish the game for the team and you took most of the pressure off me.
“Nine off six could be tricky and challenging for teams but to squeeze a boundary of covers and one behind point was ideal and at the end, a win is a win,” he said.

“The key wickets in Powerplay were crucial, there was enough seam movement and a pace upfront so I tried to use that as my advantage. We really complimented well and we have been able to restrict team to manageable totals and hopefully, we can continue this in the last couple of games of the IPL,” Jason Holder told Williamson in a video posted on IPL’s official site.
In his six IPL 2020 matches, Jason Holder of West Indies has scalped 13 wickets at an economy of 7.62 and strike rate of 11.07. He has registered scores of 5, 26* and 24* while batting in his three innings this season. Jason Holder will be next seen in action in Qualifier 2 versus Delhi Capitals. The winner of the match will play against Mumbai Indians in the final.
