Every sportsman dreams to play the game for a long time. Cricketers also follow the same rule, and when they play international cricket, they dream bigger and longer. However, every player’s life doesn’t move on the same path. While some cricketers manage to longer their cricket career as they wish, some also fail to carry on the career due to many reasons.
There were some cricketers whose cricket life ended at a very early stage due to different reasons. Here are the six much popular cricketers whose cricket careers were over at the early ages.
Tatenda Taibu (Zimbabwe, at 29 years)

Tatenda Taibu made the debut in international cricket at the age of 18 years (2001) for Zimbabwe. He was a talented wicket-keeper batsman who played 28 Tests, 150 Odis and 17 T20Is for Zimbabwe. However, he could easily stretch his cricketing career but took retirement from cricket at the age of 29 years (2012) as he only wanted to do work for the church. He ended as fourth highest run-scorer in ODIs for Zimbabwe while he also held the second most dismissals record as a wicket-keeper for his nation in the international cricket. Taibu also played IPL (Indian Premier League) for KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) in the inaugural year.
