WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley who is a nine times WWE Tag Team Champion recently said Vince McMahon actually trying to kill NXT just like he killed the ECW. He said that Vince McMahon does not want NXT to be as successful as RAW SmackDown.

Everyone who watches all the shows of WWE he or she would ever say that RAW and Smackdown are the worst two shows of the promotion. In spite of being the flagship shows, without any doubt, RAW and Smackdown are far worse than NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live.

Bubba Ray Dudley Says Vince McMahon Is Trying Kill NXT

Another thing that anyone can say that NXT is the best show of WWE right now. With some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling today RAW and Smackdown are still struggling to maintain their standard.

Recently WWE is going through a releasing spree. They have released a lot of their talents, some of the biggest names have to be Bray Wyatt, Aleister Black and Braun Strowman. But most of the stars that have been released are mostly NXT stars.

There are other instances to where NXT start who were quite big in the NXT became literally jobbers in the main roster. For the most recent instance, the current WWE NXT champion Karrion Kross who is undefeated in the NXT is nothing but a mid card in the main roster. So it is quite clear that Vince McMahon does not want NXT to be bigger than the main roster.

Bubba Ray Dudley who is a nine times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke on his Busted Open Radio show where he said Vince McMahon actually trying to kill NXT just like he killed the ECW. He said that Vince McMahon does not want NXT to be as successful as RAW SmackDown. He said;

“Vince owns NXT. Hunter doesn’t own NXT, Shawn Michales doesn’t own NXT, Vince McMahon owns NXT. And I will do whatever I want to do with it, thus what’s going on lately. I do not think Vince is doing backflips over the fact that NXT ‘lost’ to AEW on Wednesday nights.

“That is a perception thing and if there is one thing that I learned from Vince McMahon one-on-one, is that perception is reality, Bubba. Nobody gives a damn about the truth in wrestling, it’s all about the perception.

“NXT almost became an ECW for Vince, another thorn in his side. Do you really think that Vince McMahon wants NXT to be a better product or a more liked product than RAW or Smackdown?”
